At the time I probably never realised how significant, or perhaps just how much this bike would affect my life in years to come. When I first bought my Drifter I thought i'd just fit a solo saddle and a screen and that would be it... until I started asking where to buy them from.!! A few months later I was effectively putting together what turned out to be the "UK Drifter Owners Group" because back then in 1999, in this country there was absolutely nothing available for the Drifters.. and no one to ask for help or advice.

As you can see.. since then i've made quite a few changes.. hundreds in fact, and most of them are one-off hand made parts. This is one reason why I love the Drifter so much, you can make bits & bobs to give it such an individual look. We've been to rallies & ride-outs all around the country, met like minded Drifter enthusiasts and made many friends, even loaded our Drifters onto a plane and flew them to Canada for a 3,500 mile tour of Canada and the US, taking in our second US Drift-in where we won best 800..!!

All I can say is that the Drifter is most definitely a bike that can truly changes your life and will take you places you'd never dream of going..!!
